Beth and George Toscano probably bonded over their easy sense of humor, or maybe the seamless joy they conjure together. After several years of dating, both over 60 years of age, they weren’t under any pressure from family or friends to wed. But when COVID-19 hit and made us all evaluate our personal connections, they decided to be clear about their devotion to each other with a masked, outdoor wedding ceremony and reception in Harrisonburg, Virginia’s arboretum, the location of their first date together, inviting only their closest friends and family to bear witness to the intimate celebration of their love.
