OBM Specialist Certificate Programs

Branding & Collateral Design

New products to suit a new fronteir.

A new certificate program in the Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) market, the OBM Specialist Certificate needed to be distinguished from the parent company’s branding, but still tethered to ABA Technologies’s reputation as leaders in behavior analysis training program development.

I put together many concepts that resembled the objective goals of organizational development, team engagement, and strategic productivity that are present throughout OBM instruction, and honed in on a final solution through several rounds of revisions and stakeholder requests.

Space Imagery

Operating and originating on the Space Coast of Melbourne, FL, product developers jumped at my proposal to include themes of space in the branding and supplemental marketing imagery.

I developed two versions of artwork to promote the course.

Four rounds of thorough beta testing took on a 1960’s space-race motif…

…while final product illustrations featured crisp digital renderings.

Interactive PDF Workbook

An online certification course demands digital materials, so I collaborated with subject matter experts to develop digital tools, such as the interactive workbook below, as well as other digital documents that students can follow along with, checking boxes and typing within some form fields and dynamically populating others.

Clickable “tabs” running down the right side of each page of the interactive PDF contain links that help users intuitively navigate quickly within each section of the workbook, the way physical tabs on pages of a printed book allows users to operate.

“I felt that it was incredibly helpful to get some (synthesized) real life experience. I also enjoyed and found the documents and tools provided very beneficial.”

— Ashley L., (beta testing participant feedback)

Printed Workbook

By popular demand, we decided to develop a printed version of the digital workbook, with additional practice and exercises. Modeled after the interactive digital workbook (above), I designed a hard-copy to sell for those who prefer an analog learning and working experience.

“I do feel better prepared in the sense that the materials and tools provided during this course are incredibly helpful, save so much time, and really help to layout the steps of each phase.

— Kendall T. (beta testing participant feedback)

Branded T-shirts

(that people actually want to wear)

An intensive, project-based second course followed the first Specialist Program:

We developed cool T-shirts for the new course, too.
